Types of Bags

• Baguette Bag – this bag is known to have a purse that is fairly long form side to side and small from top to bottom with a small handle.
• Bucket Bag – a bag that has lot of space which is shaped like a bucket. It has an open top and shoulder strap.
• Clutch Bag – this bag is more frequently used in evening events. It is named as Clutch bag because you need to clutch it up and it is small, long and rectangular in shape.
• Cosmetic Bags - it bears or holds a cosmetic and it is in varying sizes with a zip closure.
• Envelop bag – this bag is flat, square or rectangular, it has triangular-shaped designed at top that looks like an ordinary envelop.
• Fold over clutch - similar to a clutch bag; however this type of bag can be tucked or folded without a handle.
• Hobo Bag – a shoulder bag that is semi-circular in shape that has a main compartment closure.
• Minaudiere – also a small evening bag embezzled with pieces of metal, stones or beads and may be covered with fabric or leather.
• Muff – usually used for winter season; made with real or faux fur, wool or velvet with zip compartments and slip opening.
• Saddle Bag - this bag is not actually a saddle bag it was only called as saddle bag because designers of bags make it as their inspiration.
• Satchel Bag - A handbag with double handles, locking hardware and a wide flat bottom. May be sometimes large or small.
• Shoulder Bag – bags which has a shoulder strap that hangs on shoulder.
• Sling Bag - it is similar to a messenger bag but is tiny smaller with a long strap.
• Tote Bag – a two-strapped bag commonly used as Shopping bag because it is reusable and can carry anything.
• Weekend Bag – this more often used when going to an outing or a vacation; it carries clothing and personal things.
• Wristlet – a bag shaped just like a clutch that is made with leather with a bracelet-looking strap that allows you to hold bag freely.

Bag can also be classified as Unisex Bags that are suitable both for Boys and Girls. Those are Athletic Bag and Backpack. Athletic Bag is a roomy bag used to carry sport equipment by sports enthusiasts, while Backpack is a bag with double handles and lies across the back that is supported by the shoulders. Commonly these bags are frequently used by men. There are many Types of Bags; some of those are not familiar because we have many designers today. The importance of Bags is the portability of things and equipment we carried in everyday regimen.
